Sales rep and customer service specialist (Remote)

Full-time independent contractor

Commission: compensation with bonuses

Skills and Experience – A good product line does not have to be sold. It needs to be explained and shown how it can address the needs of the consumer. If you are an effective salesperson, then you already know that a key element in sales success is an innate ability to establish a meaningful rapport with prospective customers while informing them on how a product can serve their needs. If this describes you, let’s talk. We are looking people with skills and experience in:

• Direct to consumer sales
• Customer service
• Problem solving
• Boating and dock knowledge or a related field
• Effective utilization CRM programs
• In-depth use of Microsoft office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Utilization of social media platforms

As a sales and customer service representative for Gulf Stream Docks you will be expected to provide outstanding customer service through phone, chat, text and email. You will field customer inquiries from our website, phone calls, and emails to help the customer find the best solution for their needs.

• Field incoming inquiries through a CRM
• Contact customers through phone, email, or chat and provide them with the information they request
• Work with the design team to put together custom designs and quotes
• Be comfortable not knowing all of the answers, but using problem solving and being analytical to research or ask to find the answer and solution for the customer
• Timely follow-up with all customer inquiries
• Collect customer information to place orders

The position is fully remote with little to no supervision. You must be a self-starter, have great organizational skills, and be able to set your own goals.
